Leila has been recognised numerous times for her working excellence in both the hospital and fitness settings.
In 2004 she was awarded the Pride of Workmanship Rotary award for her contribution to the health of the Australian community and always going that extra mile to help others. This award recognised Leila’s approach, attitude, dedication and commitment to her work as a Diversional Therapist at Royal North Shore Hospital as well as her work as a personal trainer at Urban Fitness Solutions.
In 2006 she was awarded ‘Master Trainer’ from the Australian Institute of Fitness for being the standout trainer.
She then went on to receive the highest possible honour from Rotary International in 2016 – The Paul Harris Fellow – in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among peoples of the world.
